Getting Started — Connecting eBay & Dropshipzone

Guide 01 · Takes about 10 minutes

This guide walks you through connecting your Dropshipzone supplier account and your eBay AU store to DSMate for the first time. Once both are linked, you'll be able to import products, set pricing rules, and have DSMate sync everything automatically.

ℹ️

Before you start, make sure you have an active Dropshipzone reseller account with API access enabled and an eBay Australia seller account. DSMate uses your own credentials — your pricing and account terms stay yours.

Step 1 — Create your DSMate account

1

Register your account

Click on Start free at the top of the page and create your account. You can sign up with your email or continue with Google. No credit card required for the free plan.

2

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link before proceeding. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Step 2 — Connect Dropshipzone

Dropshipzone is your supplier. DSMate needs to connect to their system to read product data, stock levels, and pricing on your behalf.

1

Go to Products → Import

From your DSMate dashboard, navigate to Products in the sidebar, then click Import Product.

2

Select Dropshipzone and enter your credentials

Click the Dropshipzone card and enter your Dropshipzone reseller account credentials. DSMate uses these to authenticate with Dropshipzone's API — your credentials are stored securely.

3

Confirm the connection

Once connected, you'll see Dropshipzone listed with a Connected badge on your Suppliers page. You're now ready to import products from dropshipzone using single import or bulk import (paid plan required).

💡

Tip: If you see a connection error, double-check your Dropshipzone login credentials are correct and that your reseller account is active. Contact Dropshipzone support if your account needs API access enabled.

Step 3 — Connect your eBay AU store

DSMate connects to eBay using official OAuth — you authorise access directly through eBay's own login page. DSMate never sees your eBay password.

1

Go to Marketplaces → Connect Marketplace

From your dashboard, navigate to Marketplaces in the sidebar, then click Connect Marketplace.

2

Select eBay and authorise access

Click the eBay card, then click Connect. You'll be redirected to eBay's login page. Sign in to your eBay seller account and grant DSMate permission to manage your listings and orders.

3

You'll be redirected back to DSMate

After authorising, eBay redirects you back to DSMate automatically. Your store will appear on the Marketplaces page with a Connected status.

4

Set your store as Primary

Open your connected eBay store and click Set as Primary Marketplace. Your primary store is the one DSMate uses by default when listing products and syncing orders.

⚠️

Before connecting: Make sure your eBay store is properly configured — business policies, shipping, and payment preferences set up. Try listing one item manually first to confirm everything is in order. DSMate won't be able to list to a store that isn't fully set up.

What's next?

With both connections live, you're ready to start importing products from Dropshipzone and listing them on eBay. Browse dropshipzone for products you want to sell. Go to Products → Import Products to import Dropshipzone SKUs, and push them to your eBay store.

DSMate will then watch those listings every night and keep prices, stock, and shipping in sync automatically. Read the auto-sync guide to understand exactly what it checks and when.
